The Lion King at The House, Shuttleworth
19 August @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Disney’s Lion King ticks all the boxes, a lovable hero, funny sidekicks and a wicked villain – puts them together with a great song list and creates a movie that works for adults and kids alike. We’ll happily sit down and watch this without the children but watching them enjoy it on a big screen in the open air is even more fun. Come and join us at Shuttleworth this summer.
The House at Shuttleworth is set in the wider landscape of the early 19th century Grade II listed parkland of Old Warden Park, on which the outdoor screening will take place. The historic shrubbery walk leads into an extensive picturesque Regency style Swiss Garden, with 13 structures and intriguing vistas. The garden is adjacent to The Collection, home to some of the last remaining airworthy vintage aircraft of their type and interesting selection of mostly period cars, carriages, classic motorcycles and early bicycles. Only alcohol purchased on site may be brought into the venue.
In common with all our events we do not permit glass to be brought on site. All 2020 screenings are subject to restrictions and safety measures that may still be in place as a result of Covid-19. In the event that this movie has to be postponed your ticket will remain valid for transfer to any new date or can be transferred to another screening. For more information please click here.
